Combined Pre Entrance Test CPET 2010 Exam
National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, conduct the Combined Pre-Entrance Test (CPET) for admission to 4 year BTech courses for 2010. Selection is made on merit of the Combined Pre-Entrance Test (CPET) exam.

Eligibility
The candidate must have passed in 10+2 examination of HP Board of School Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English for General Seats; for Payment/NRI seats, candidate must have obtained 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
How To Apply
The application form can be sending payment by Bank Draft amounting to Rs.1050/- in case of General and other categories, Rs.550/- for SC/ST categories only and US Dollars 50 and complete his/her mailing address in capital letters along with telephone number.
Age
The candidate should have already completed or should complete the age of 17 years and must not have completed 25 years
Examination Pattern
HP CPET exam comprises of objective type multiple choices questions which are asked from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
As for the reservation of seats, it is SC- 15%, ST-7.5%, diploma holders 2 seats and teachers of Government Polytechnics situated in Himachal Pradesh 2 seats.
